Using a Front Derailleur Shifter on the Rear Derailleur
I converted to a single chain ring on the front and am getting a new frame to put together a second bike. Shifters are pretty expensive, so I was thinking about getting just a simple set of drop bar brake levers, putting one on each bike and taking the front derailleur shifter (old shimano 105) on the new bike to work a nine speed shimano 105 rear derailleur.
Is this possible?
