I am a retired carpenter of 40 years and I enjoy riding a bicycle as a way to stay in shape. I ride a couple of hours a day. I have 2 bikes that are vintage, one is an old schwinn continental 10 speed that I keep in good shape, it is a very hard bone to ride, I keep it and ride it with pride because that is the bike I rode all over Portland Ore with when I was growing up.The bike I ride the most and like the most is a 1992 schwinn crosscut hybrid ,it is a very weird bike in that it is basically a road bike with mtb and road bike grearing, with straight mtb handle bars. My favorite bike color is fire engine red, my hybrid is a race team bike,with integreated rapid fire shifters, 21 speeds,great brakes, nice frame, straight handle bars like an mtb. all told it is a bike I really enjoy riding on and off road ( about 15 of the time). I live in Hampshire Il and I am looking for a riding Partner.Hi everyone.
