Fixed bikes - You've been doing it wrong the whole time!

Why bother with lockrings, BCD, and NJS when you could just build a fixed bike by gluing the shifter so you can't shift? You must admire the brilliance of his logic, though. Shame the price is so high

Brand new Magna mountain bike, black, no scratches. I bought it for my son's birthday but he doesn't want it. I heard "fixed" bikes were popular so I put super glue in the shifter so you are no longer able to change gears.

Shoot me an email if you want any more details, or want to make an offer.

I don't ride fixed, but I plan to build a single-speed bike at some point in time using that beat-up gas-pipe bike in my garage. It has horizontal drops; perhaps I'll try fixed at some point?
