I was using MotionX lite which is good, but based on other reviews I recently purchased Cyclemeter and it's excellent. Love the fact that you can compare times etc on your regular rides (with voice commentary if you like) and it links to a calendar. Can also export your stats into a spreadsheet. There are ways to reduce battery drain listed on their website. Very impressed.
