First time rider. Had Achilles Tendon surgery 10 months ago....have not run since then, so I am going to ride a bike for exercise and hopefully lose a few pounds.
My wife also got a new bike. I know, I should learn to shift gears--but right now just not into that and everywhere I ride is flat and open. Had a 21 speed bike some years ago and gears were nothing but trouble for me. I got a Trek Lime and my wife got a Trek Coaster or something. Maybe if I get into cycling a little more serious, I will purchase another bike in the future.
