Yes, actually, it's waterproof, and no soldering. I used off-the-shelf crimp connectors, housings, and pre-made sealed LED bulbs. Not that bad. The only thing I really had to fab was a way to mount the light housings on the handlebars. Check out the "Ultimate Geekiness" thread in the Lights and Electronics section.
