"K" serial number is 1982. 110 was basically a nice entry level bike back then. The plus is the cromoly main frame tubes and three piece crank, the minus is the steel rims and nutted axles.

The good news is the rest of your description matches the 1983 model. So I think your frame was made late in 1982, and built to match 1983 specs. The 1983 110 is a much better bike.

That date code is likely on the crank arms. 165 is the length, Nov or Dec 1982. Suntour "YH" = August 1982. Given the lag on components, this confirms bike is more likely a 1983.

Spend some time looking at the 1983 spec page.


Looked at your picture above, your bike is DEFINITELY a 1983 model, and not the 1982. The 1982 had cheap, stem shifters. The 1983 had DT shifters. Your bike has other features that match the 1983 model as well.
