It's similarly steep. The road really doesn't let up until you get to 1600ft of elevation. Lots of really steep ramps. Afterward you pass 1600ft, the grade is easy, but your legs are tired so it's still not that fun.
The more interesting section is Barrymore Road. I can't wait to climb that. It has the hardest 1/2 mile in the Santa Monicas, averaging 17%.
