If you have even more time, when you get to Whitefish, you could hop over to Glacier National Park and ride up the west side of Going to the Sun Road to Logan Pass and then back down and then head back to Whitefish. Thanks again...I will look hard at those suggestions. I lived in Great Falls, MT for 8 years and traveled around the state a few times but never made it up north much (only to Havre once). I'm on a tight schedule for the entire trip (60 days) due to work so I will have to make the time...literally.
