I paid $130 for my ENO hub, then with the rim, spokes, and such it was almost $200. If you work at a shop you can probably get some or all of these at cost or discount. Sheldon Brown also discusses chain tensioners on vertical dropouts and ENO hubs. Personally, I depend on my wheels for the bulk of my transportation year round, so the investment of good wheels is worth every cent.
