Thanks for the reply. I think Trek's idea was that people using this bike would have been sitting completely upright with the handlebars well above the seat. If I was shopping now for a bike I would get a Flat bar road bike as I have the front suspension set as hard as it will go (can't be locked out) and my seat is slightly higher than my bars.
