Until today I was a "lurker" and have found some tremendously valuable information on the forum. I decided to go ahead and register so that I could participate in the exchanges.
I am mainly into road bikes, particularly older road bikes, but I do own a 2009 Gary Fisher AR Super which I dearly love. But there is nothing like steel and I often find myself pulling one of the old steeds down off the hooks in my garage.
I just sold my oldest bike, which was a 1974, and am currently working on a Schwinn Letour that I believe is either a 1974 or '75.
My name is Ray and I live in St. Louis, MO with my wife and 4 children. Actually, two of them are in college, so I don't get to see them as often as I'd like.
In addition to bikes, I run, watch sports and enjoy reading a variety of genres.
