If you decide to pursue the matter, carefully inspect the area immediately behind the headlugs for cracks in the paint and ripples in the metal itself. Avoid a frame with any actual ripples or other visual distoration of the metal iteslf. Cracked paint is signs of a crash, but provided there are signs of metal distortion the frame is sound, though it may require alignment. Finding a fork is not a big deal, unless you absolutely have to have an OEM fork.
