I believe there are actually two Burley Zydeco mixte-x models I could only find one on the Burley website. The $999 model on the website is an aluminum frame. My LBS showed me a model on the floor (that was just sold but more on the way) that is a chromoly frame with better bearings, same components and costs an additional $200.

I tested the Raleigh Coupe too. Liked the components and disk brakes, but the frame size didn't work for my stoker with the shock seat post and I'm concerned that after 20-30miles on an aluminum frame that my stoker will feel the road vibrations too much. So I'm going either with a new Burley Zydeco Mixte-x chromoly or a used Samba or Rock'n Roll. Good luck. It's tough to make the decision, but fun too.
