$100 is way too much for that bicycle, in my opinion. Why not spend the next two or three days telling everyone you know, meet or do business with that you are looking for: an old Ten Speed road bicycle - the kind with skinny tires and handlebars that curl down. People will know what you mean and you just might be stunned at what crops up.

Honestly, word of mouth is a great way to find old bikes. It is one of the How To Find Vintage Bicycles procedures that I use all the time to find bicycles. And I find hundreds each year, but not all are worth my time to purchase.
