The two are identical as far as I can tell so yeah, gearing for sure, racks maybe. Rear wheel... I personally just use it, keep an eye on spoke tension, carry spare spokes, and carry a unior cassette cracker so you can replace inner rear spokes. Later if you decide you need to you can upgrade the rear wheel. I'll probably wait until they are shot and buy a wheel set if I don't want a new bike by then.
