must have been the quality. ive had aluminum in my fixed gear cranks for a year and they have been removed several times. the 1994 campagnolo road cranks i have still have their oem aluminum bolts and they have been apart countless times for different ring and bike setups. despite everything, they could almost be passed off as NOS.
