Reuse Clamp Adaptor for FD?

Planning on using the winter to learn how to work on a bike and at the same time upgrade components. Will be looking for deals on 105/Ultegra throughout and want to put together a list of what I will need.

Currently, for the FD the bike has:
Shimano 2303, braze-on w/34.9 clamp adaptor

Would it be safe to say that I could get a 105 or Ultegra Braze-on FD and simply re-use the existing clamp adaptor? Or would a new FD require a new size specific adaptor (or just look for a clamp-on type)?

(Note my search for this problem came up short - perhaps its such a novice question I couldn't find anything!)

Thanks! I have a long way to go, but I'm a quick learner....

EDIT: This is for a 2010 Felt ZW100
