We have some fantastic rides just out of town, so I get to do favorites any time, I'm so lucky to live in Eugene. I rode the week long Cycle Oregon this year and the rides were excellent, and a super fun event overall.

But my favorite always is the Moab Skinny Festival in Utah last March. Moab is magical, no other way to put it, and the trip to the canyonlands sun is a welcome break from Oregon rain and gloom that time of year. Rides along the Colorado River canyon, Arches National Park and to Dead Horse Point State Park are all sensational.

Arches National Park, yes that's the road we ride down there
