I was gone by Turn 2 in my first crit. And I was 4th through Turn 1. I figured "it's a hill, I should shift into my low gear". Plunked it into the 42x21. Everyone else sprinted up the short hill in a 53x15.
I practiced like mad getting into the clips. I had no excuse.
