@FeetFirst: that's neat! Does it hold your bike steady enough that you could improvise your bike as a camera tripod? I have a clip that could hold my camera to the top tube or handlebars, but keeping the bike steady has always been a problem.
If you are using a light digital camera, no problem. If using a SLR, I'd be wary of the mass and I'd lock the mirror after setting up the shot, before hitting the shutter release or activating the shutter timer.
