But most of my cycling to some extent revolves around getting better, getting stronger, losing weight, etc., so it's headed in the racing direction. I plan to show up for the 60k this coming Sunday, just to see how slow I am. And to get myself on the mailing list. Unfortunately, at 58 1/2, I'll be one of the oldest in my age group. And certainly the slowest. But we've gotta start somewhere.
