Sunrace may well be the company to watch for new products. Most of my direct experience with their products is the newer Sturmey Archer stuff, but one of my wife's bikes has Sunrace rapid fire style shifters which work very nicely.
It will be interesting to see if the new Driven line gains any traction.
I think Microsohift is in a better position than Sunrace, but it would be interesting to see what would happen if Tektro decides to get in the drivetrain business.
