+1 on it being too expensive. Even in great condition I wouldn't think of offering more than $125.00. As far as converting it, as long as you keep all of the original components and can rebuild it, it is still better than seeing it go to a landfill or hanging in a garage, unused.

The black and chrome has always been a great look.
