For ebay. Have a bike shop pack and ship it. You can have the buyer pay for the packing which last time I checked was about $25 or you can split that in half. Saves time and effort and no need to find all the packing materials.
Sounds like you have something that isn't all that droolworthy, NYC should be easy to sell.
i set the shipping to a certain price, and said "if it's less i'll refund you the difference"
and, the stuff i'm selling is nice. It's not a R5CA, but it's not crap.
