Expect train noise in Rockwood. There's a nice B & B on the GAP itself, next to the bike shop. Two other alternatives are the Guest House at Husky Haven Campground, and the Hostel on Main. I've stayed at the Hostel on Main, and it's pretty upscale for a hostel. My friend Sayre Kulp stayed at the Guest House on his October 2010 tour, and thought it was great. Both are a lot less than the B & B.

I don't have any advice for Connellsville.
