Need bike buying advice

I am relatively new to mountain biking at age 40 and am looking at purchasing one of two full suspension bikes. I will be using the bike for XC riding, some technical single track and general trail riding. I won't be doing a whole lot of downhill or taking big drops and am not planning to race (at least not yet). I am 6'4, 200lbs and have a 34" inseam. The two bikes, there prices and specs are listed below. Let me know your thoughts, especially if you've ridden both bikes. If you own one, tell me what makes it great or not so great. Thanks in advance for your help!!
