Good to see this thread is active again. I was just loitering and decided I'd add a question:

I think I've mentioned (perhaps ad nauseum) that I like to ride up to various parts of Connecticut from Long Island. One of my most frequent rides is via Bridgeport to Milford. In the past, I have used Lordship Road to bring me to the water, but I always seem to start heading north again way too soon. While driving through the area in a car about a year ago, I convinced my wife to let me detour down that way to try to find the ultimate waterside route, but it got a bit complicated, as some of the connections between roads weren't negotiable with a car.

I'm hoping to head up that way again this summer and would like to have the perfect waterside route all the way to Milford. I usually stay at one of the dumps on Rt. 1, near I-95 and the Post Mall.

Can anybody help?
