I agree, Bike Habitat is hit or miss as far as sales goes. I was just talking about one of their mechanics. Not sure if he's "freelancer" or is officially on the store's payroll.
Conrad's is nice, they keep a tight shop, but again, they're sort of brisk with you a lot of times. I think they've been hit hard since 2008 when a LOT less people stopped buying expensive frame sets and accessories. Just from my observation they seem to do a ton of repair/maintenance business though.
