I found a new alternative to suspension!

I 'bodged' a fitting for a full sized front rack on my Kingpin by bending the bracket round in a curve to the front forks bridge. Today I used front panniers for the 1st time on this bike with unexpected results. The bracket acts like a spring allowing a small amount of movement in the rack so that when I hit potholes the rack and panniers absorb the shock giving me an amazingly smooth ride.
