Thanks for the offer, I already have a 1" stem adapter as I plan on using a 1 1/8" stem but adapting the 1 1/8" headset to the 1" fork is really what I'm up against.
It would seem to me that the crown race adapter would need a lip so the weight of the bike/rider bears down on the adapter and that the race is actually not directly touching the fork. Is that how they work or are these adapters purely a straight sleeve.
