Start it up as a Facebook group. There are several casual/social rides locally here in Ft. Worth that post up through FB; in fact, that's why I joined. Tuesdays and Thursdays are spirited rides from a bike shop, Wednesday is a little more laid back, and start from a pub. The last Wed. of the month they ride to get Vietnamese food for dinner. On Sundays they start from the same pub and do a pub crawl ride. On Tuesdays a second group started, this one for beginners riding less than 10 mph. All these I found out about through FB.
