Anyone with Diabetes use or otherwise dealt with a Diabetic Alert Dog?
My son is Type 1 and has been for 4-5 years now. We have a third party who wants to buy one of these dogs for him. They are quite expensive and it would be nice to have but I know nothing about them and don't want the guy to just throw his money away.
My son is 13 and his sugar levels are going crazy with the changes that all teens go through. So it would be nice to have another means of protection. We also already have 2 yorkies and they say its okay but do not recommend having other pets.
