That's why I lock to racks that are too fat to be cut by bolt cutters. I intentionally park my bike at a different building for my daily commute because the building all my classes are in has those dinky 1/2" circle tube rack things that are 75% rusted out anyways. You wouldn't lock your bike to a skinny tree, so why would you lock your bike to something made of rebar?
