I did once take a train from West Palm Beach to Miami. It was interesting. We have a lot more trains in this part of the country, and the Florida train was different. As my daughter's friend's mother (in FL) said, "We don't take trains here," which is code for "We white people don't ride the trains with the minorities." (OK, enough of that, because it starts to get political.) The fare-taker on the train wore a gun on his hip. That almost freaked me out. But it was comfortable and uneventful, and I didn't mind riding the train one bit.
And yes, if I make it to Miami, as I have a friend there, I will see if I can see Kurt. Forgive me, but who is Mike?
