It really depends on what you want to do with it -- the Moto has much steeper frame angles, meaning that it'll be faster, but also twitchier and less stable. The Peugeot is more of a touring frame, better for easy riding around town. Of course, what really matters is how well the frame fits you -- if it doesn't feel good, it doesn't feel good.


Based on the level of bike activity I saw on my last trip to Austin, I'd say that both prices are probably fair for the market. The accessories that come with the Peugeot are definite pluses if you're going to use it for transportation (or you can sell them and probably recoup at least $40 or 50). I paid $140 for a similar bike in Richmond a few years ago, without fenders, rack, or lights, and did not feel ripped off.
