Rollers
I've also posted this question in the training forum, but I'm not sure how many of you guys will look in there on a regular basis. A roadie colleague has given me on long term loan a set of rollers for me to train on as I was looking to improve my cadence rate and overall endurence, however I've heard tales that rollers will strip the tread from an off road tyre.
Does anyone know if this is true, as I don't want to have to find out the expensive way? Should I go out and buy some slicks, and if so, would I be able to use semi-slicks? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
