brake cleaner is used for cleaning brakes & electrical components (thats why usually it will say brake/electrical parts cleaner on can).very safe for cleaning a steel rotor on a bike.
apply to a shop rag & wipe clean.If not simply clean up w/ some lite sand paper.......
