I think the best we ever averaged was 19.7 mph for about 48 miles (by ourselves). Rolling hills but no real climbing. We've tried to come close to that speed several times since and can't come close. Don't know what was right that day. As the years go by, it seems unlikely that we will ever be able to repeat that.
