I really like Fuji's. I think they ride great. I have a Finest and a Special Road Racer. I would guess either of mine would sell in that price range (probably a little less for the SRR.)
Check that everything works properly. Check the crank, headset, and wheel bearings to see if they are loose. Take it for a ride and make sure it goes straight. I check the cassette and chainring teeth for wear. Your paying a premium, so it shouldn't need any work.
