Update.
So I was finally able to install the Node 1 and the potentially suspect Trek Incite Speedtrap yesterday. Well wouldnt ya know, it worked!! So for anyone who is looking to purchase the Node 1/2, try and find the Trek Speedtrap instead of the Bontrager model and you'll save yourself 10 bucks.
