The only bike covers I`ve ever seen are intended to shelter a stationary bike from the elements. If you`re looking to protect your bikes while on an exterior car rack or trailer I doubt they`d be suitable. The covers are so lightweight that the wind forces at highway speeds would rip them to shreds.
You might have better luck looking at a cover for a small motorcycle and even then it would have to be well secured.
