They are going to have an iPad app for it too, so if they actually stream to my iPad it would be worth it to me. I cut cable off last year to save money with the idea that I'd treat myself to the tour at least. The happy surprise is that I get high def Universal Sports with rabbit ears and watched the Giro.
Usually, cycling.tv has links to several different streaming video sites. You should be able to find at least a couple that will work. Eurosport generally has excellent coverage of all things cycling, but I don't know how licensing will figure in.
