Howdy from Texas

I'm a new member hailing from denton, just north of Dallas. Cheers to you all.

I have one bike: a Barracuda alu mountain bike, mostly set up for commuting. It's got lights, a nice Cane Creek wheelset with 1.5inch Specialized Armadillo commuter tires at 100psi, and a 'zoke Bomber fork. I commute 8 miles each way every day, about 4000 miles a year, and the mtb bike has proven essential for the curbhopping and pothole diving on the bike-unfriendly route. When i wanna go offroad, I throw on my old wheelset with fatty tires, take off the battery, and go at it. by the way, texas has sucky mountain biking, but Arkansas and Oklahoma are close and fun.

One accomplishment I'm proud of is biking Pikes Peak, the bar H trail, bottom to top and back down. My rims got hot enough from braking on the way down my innertube melted and blew up That's quite a ride, especially for a flatlander used to thick air.

Be seeing you guys.
