Ultra Sports are perfectly acceptable tires, so whoever ends up with the bike may not mind them at all. I'd replace the torn one with new and sell it that way. As others have mentioned, anyone who needs a $50+ tire is going to have specific enough taste that (s)he'll probably just buy new ones anyway.
