Actually they both have carbon forks and neither has hydraulic brakes. I'd much rather own the Gary Fisher. The forks remind me of Bontrager's Switchblades from 1987. Disc brakes are a lot cleaner and worry free. No black alloy braking debris on the rims is nice. Frequent fiddling with rim brake pads is not.
