Knee did great, about 10 minutes into the ride it loosened up and the pain faded.

I really think that many of us (Clydes/Athenas) have a problem with delayed gratification, hence settling for food, when we know that if we only eat less and exercise more now, we will feel better down the road.

Frankly I felt great after the ride, during the ride I wanted to stop and puke my guts out a couple of times though (I hate hills, although the 30 mph down hills were fun). I LOVE the feeling that comes from having exercised, yet too often I don't go there, because I don't want to experience the process.
