Randy, yours looks to be post 1975. It was after that, I think, that they went to Vitus tubing on the GJ.
I did notice the Vitus decal but thought little of it. As I mentioned, I just got the bike. It was the coincidence that struck me and demanded sharing. Hope the bike fits. It looks to be in really nice shape, except for the rear derailleur - busted.
