Pedestrian walkway on Willy B closed, pedestrians rerouted onto the bike lane again :

It's freaking peak season for cycling in NYC and they close the pedestrian walkway on the Williamsburg Bridge for over a month now with no end in sight. Apparently this is needed for the towers renovation. All the pedestrians are rerouted onto the bike path. It's a mess all over again like in the old days before the city changed the traffic patterns on the bridge to lower the conflicts between cyclists and pedestrians. Sometimes I really doubt that NYC takes cycling seriously.

PS. MTA truck was parked in the 1st Ave bike lane today with lights flashing while the guys inside were eating breakfast...
