Royce Hubs

I'm thinking about a set of Royce Venus Titan hubs, looking for experiences with Royce hubs.

Documentation is pretty scarce, one thing I'm wondering is if the bearings (cartridge) are user replaceable and if so, are they a standard size. Some of the stuff I've read seems to indicate that the bearings are a special unit made/specified by Royce. Not a deal killer necessarily, but something nice to know (I did send email to company asking about this, haven't gotten a response yet).

But beyond that, general observations, etc, are welcome. My hub short list right now is Dura Ace (love the good old cup cones), White Industries H2/H3 (really cool, but I just had a recent set, kinda like to try something new) & Royce Venus Titan F/R or just plain Titan rear, mid flange front.
